My Rat Detector

    I was inspired to create a motion detector from the online forums at www.ratkill.com.  I went to Home Depot and picked up a standalone motion detector made for an outdoor light.  I mounted it on a beam in the garage pointed at the hole where the rats enter.  I also bought some sockets so that I could hook up a couple extension cords to it instead of lights.  One of the extension cords was then pulled into the room next to the garage with a night light plugged into it.  While I watched T.V. at night, I would know if a rat was in the garage when the night light came on.  It freakin' worked!  Kill # 13 was made as a result!
