I was encouraged by my first attempt. I had placed a ladder in the middle of my garage so that I could have a perfect 360 degree view of the garage. I entered the garage and immediately climbed the ladder. Fortunately, one of the babies had begun to run down a rafter towards me. I took aim and fired. To my deranged delight the shot was true and sent the vermin flying backwards into a ten foot drop with a light splat. After about ten seconds of blurred twitching I was able to come close to inspect the damage. I couldn't have been happier... My first kill, right in the throat.
