I strolled into the garage at about 9:30 PM. My red filtered mag light guided me over to the ladder which I proceeded to climb. As I did so, I heard a sound from the corner where so many rats have fallen before. I shined the light up into the corner of the garage to find a large adult rat on the rafters. It's eyes glowed from the light. It was obvious to me that the rat knew something was up. It ran back and forth oblivious to the severity of my intentions. Eventually it stopped. I couldn't have had a cleaner shot. The rat kindly waited as I lined up the sight on my rifle right between it's glowing eyes. I ended it's disease ridden life with the pull of my trigger. It tumbled off of the rafters ass over head into a splat on the cement. After switching on the garage light. I found it on the ground in the corner convulsing in a large messy pool of its own blood. What a wonderful way to break my killing fast of nearly a month.

Ouch!

I assume the wound is under the throat. I couldn't find it due to the mass amounts of blood.
