Wow! This is kill number thirty-six. This one occurred just a couple hours after number thirty-five and just a couple minutes before thirty-seven. This is a three rat night. Wasn't that a band in the seventies? I went back into the garage after bagging number thirty-five. and heard the familiar scurrying. I was using the DDD Mag Light again because I'm tired of trying to line up my sight in the virtual darkness that my red-filtered light provides. After a few minutes of waiting, listening, and panning the garage with the light I spotted the teenager about twelve feet in front of me. Its eyes glowed giving me a great target. The shot sent it back into the corner where the roof meets the wall but its vibrations sent it back over the ledge and onto the top of a file box. Its tail beat the box top like a drum for a few seconds. to be continued... click on number thirty-seven for the rest of this exciting story

My first rat bung hole picture. Take a good look up there.

I missed its head by a half of an inch. Damn!
